Finally, Good News:
It's been years since I last updated this page (like, October 2022). It's been hard with multiple deaths, prolonged isolation and divorce while barely keeping a roof over my head throughout 2022-2023.I've been blessed with such kindness from friends who saved me from homelessness last year and this year I've been slowly getting back on my feet. While I still have a long way to go, I'm definitely in a better place thanks to them. I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for them.To be honest, commissions has always been a desperate cry for survival-- which lead to me completely hating what once brought me joy. It is the reason why I haven't finished most of them. I would force myself to draw out of guilt and shame, not love and passion. I would impose unrealistic expectations on myself and refused to accept my own humanity and vulnerability out of fear. This is what happens when you sacrifice the things you love, in order to survive.But 2024 has been different, thanks to the love and support from friends and family. After all these years I'm finally able to work towards slowly getting back on my feet and reclaiming my life. I couldn't have done it alone, and I'm beyond grateful for those who stood by me all this time. Due to my poor health and healthcare profession, I aim to get things done within a few days/weeks; but please be aware that wait time can potentially take MUCH longer (my luck is awful).I cannot offer refunds as I usually open commission slots as a last resort for paying bills.Please understand as this has been an ongoing struggle for the last few years; and that 90% of it is completely outside of my control (chronic illness/pain, debt, covid, etc.). You are not obligated to spend money on me if you feel that you may want a refund after waiting too long for me to finish, and I can't blame you; it's understandable.I prefer to have complete creative freedom with your character(s), tiny requests for details are sometimes fine, maybe.
